As a Civic Learning Award School, you are invited to attend the California School Recognition Program (CSRP) Awards Ceremony on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. Presented by the California Department of Education (CDE), the ceremony is a celebratory day to recognize your school’s outstanding achievements.

During the ceremony, we will honor the 2023 California Distinguished Schools, 2023 California Exemplary Arts Education Schools, 2022 National Blue Ribbon Schools, and 2022 Civic Learning Award Schools.

The deadline to register for the Awards Ceremony is Wednesday, February 1, 2023. The hotel reservations cut off for the room block is Monday, January 30, 2023. Parking Lot Safety

Parking Lot Safety

Please help to keep our students safe!

The following guidelines and traffic patterns have been established to help keep students safe and minimize traffic gridlock when dropping off and picking up students.

DROP OFF:

The faculty parking lot is for staff parking ONLY-no student drop off.

Please pull all the way forward when entering the drop off area-Don't leave gaps between cars.

The guest parking lot is for parking ONLY-no student drop off.

If you are parking in the cafeteria lot, please escort your student to the curb.

If you drop off on Rancho Santiago Blvd., please do so along the field.

AFTER SCHOOL:

After school walkers go across the athletic field and out the back gates.

Pick up should be in front of the school cafeteria or along the athletic field fence on Rancho Santiago Blvd.

Please be respectful of our neighborhood.

Please do not park on Walnut Street as it disrupts traffic flow.

Santanas are expected to…
- Treat peers and staff with respect and kindness at all times.
- Remember that Intimidation and Harassment are not tolerated (Including spreading rumors, making fun of others, picking on others, purposefully isolating others).
- Be mindful of what is posted on social media.

Bullying Prevention

Santiago's Bullying Plan consists of the following components:

Developing and implementing a shared school-wide definition of RESPECT.
Building positive RELATIONSHIPS for students and staff members.
Building RESILIENCY through increasing positive connections and developing cognitive skills.
RESPONDING effectively to negative peer actions.
