February Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations to Fathima Abuthahir for being selected Santiago’s February Parent Volunteer of the Month. Mrs. Kalman wrote:

"Fathima is such an amazing parent and Santiago supporter. She is actively engaged in Zaira's education here on campus and makes sure the teachers and staff feel appreciated. Fathima has been an active parent volunteer for Culinary this year since the start. She is here every day we post with available times to be extra hands and help in the classroom. She even comes in to help with 7th grade classes and other periods when Zaira is in her other classes. It is a welcome addition to our program to have her share her expertise with the kids and help out regularly. It is parents like Fathima that really make students and staff feel valued. This type of community is what Santiago is all about."
